Cadillac’s newest electric compact SUV, the 2025 OPTIQ, has achieved the highest possible safety rating from Euro NCAP, earning five stars in the organization’s rigorous crash and safety tests. This milestone underscores Cadillac’s commitment to delivering world-class safety, innovation, and engineering excellence to European drivers.
This rating reflects the highest rating awarded from Europe’s foremost independent safety organization, meaning “Overall excellent performance in crash protection and well equipped with state-of-the-art crash avoidance technology.”
The OPTIQ scored highest on Adult Occupant Protection and Child Occupant Protection. These results place OPTIQ among the top performers in its segment, ahead of several other compact EVs currently available in Europe.
"The Cadillac OPTIQ proves that American innovation is stepping up to meet Europe’s high expectations for crash protection and driver assistance technologies," said Dr. Aled Williams, Programme Director at Euro NCAP.
